Praised for her “pinpoint security,” “handsome tone,” and “impressive purity,” Lydia Rose Eiche has sung as soloist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and in opera productions at the University of Wisconsin and Southern Illinois University. Her roles include Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Dalinda in Handel’s Ariodante, and the title role in John Duke’s comic one-act Captain Lovelock. In addition, she sang Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro at Opera Orvieto, in Italy. Her awards include the John David Anello Sr. & Albert A. Silverman Memorial Scholarship from the Civic Music Association of Milwaukee and First Place in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Auditions, Wisconsin and Illinois Chapters. Lydia is currently studying at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music with Marlee Sabo.
