L’enfant et les sortileges

I’m writing this backstage, right before I’m about to go on for an orchestra tech rehearsal. This month, I have been working in Miami in the chorus for La Boheme by Puccini and as “le rossignol” or nightingale in L’enfant et les sortileges by Ravel. The show is about a naughty boy who gets taught a lesson from all the things he has tormented. This includes book characters like a princess, his furniture, his math book, and animals. The concept is that all the characters are in “paper suits” that have words from the libretto printed on them and their character is either attached to the front or held in puppet form. They are supposed to look like two-dimensional paper dolls. I attached a picture of my costume and a video of my part.
